FW/Arlington Ceremony Venue Help!!

Hello!

I am planning my wedding in the Fort Worth/Arlington area (surrounding cities are fine too). I am originally from Fort Worth, but I am currently away at graduate school in Oregon until June, so I'm trying to start my planning from afar. My fiance and I are not very religious so looking for a place to hold the ceremony is proving to be difficult. We are looking for either a neutral church or a nice wedding chapel that can accomodate between 150-200 guests.

Does anyone have any suggestions? I've been looking online and found a few nice places, but some of the wedding chapels are just so cheesy! We're looking to have a military wedding, so we'd like to have it somewhere a little nice looking.

Any ideas would be great!!

    Robert Carr Chapel on the TCU campus and Marty Leonard Chapel are the 2 that come to mind

    We're VERY early in the planning process so we don't have a set reception site yet either. Open to suggestions for either one :)

    The Hilton Hotel in Arlington is BEAUTIFUL! We were orginally planning on doing our wedding there, but money issues with the new home had to come first, but the wedding planner there Jenn is amazing.

    I will second Robert Carr and Marty Leonard if you want a chapel.  Both are gorgeous!


    Also, you could do the Bass Hall, Botanical Gardens, Ashton Depot, Omni Hotel, etc.    I saw a military wedding at Robert Carr Chapel and for the reception they rented out all of Billy Bob's.   It was AWESOME, but certainly not for everyone.

    Meditterenean Villa in Arlington. They were a bit pricey in my opinion but a nice venue. The diamond club in the rangers baseball stadium. There is another space in the stadium that is great for an appetizer recetion. I think its called the museum?
    You can have the ceremony and reception at these places.

    Cacheral was my first choice. They have a small room that holds IMO no more than 50 comfortably. There large ballroom is great. The White room in Arlington is nice. You have to go see it. The website is getting revamped. These 2 I would say are for reception only.

    Oh, there is a new place in Mansfield called Artiside? They should be opened by now or very soon.

    There are several golf courses, Walnut Creek, Rolling Hills, Texas Star, etc.
