Hi Lynda. I'm super excited for Mardi Gras too! We're going down there next weekend, probably Saturday but I'm not sure. We need to figure out what day has the best parades and stuff. Do you have any ideas? And we're going again on Fat Tuesday for sure.

Hola ladies! Another week at school done, 10 more to go! I'm beat but happy that the week is drawing to a close.

It was a really good, if long, day. H and I had a really good, productive talk today, and class was awesome. Today was the first time in a long time that I really felt myself getting passionate about my M.A. again. It was pretty great.

So, um, this is kind of weird. I still get emails with specials and coupons for the company that did my Bpics. I went to the website to look at the contest they were doing, and came across one of my photos in one of their promo areas. Um... I thought I had to sign a release for them to do that? I will need to look into what I signed.... Don't really want me plastered all over like that.

MuSu - I know when I did mine, there was an option to pay extra to basically NOT let them use the pics in advertisments, blogs, etc. I looked at a few photographers and they were all like that, def check what you signed.

I'm back. I am minus one refrigerator now. YAY! And plus a couple of nicks in the wall by the stairs. I have to assess the damage at some point, but I think I will leave it for weekend. I am not going to deal with it tonight, that's for sure.

KJB -- I don't remember them mentioning a pay extra option, but I just feel like I remember them telling me that they would have me sign something different for it to end up online. I just don't feel comfortable with the picture being up there for the whole world to find. I will have to find the fine print somewhere.

My co-teacher I can't stand was going on about her sister moving to forks, WA. I had no clue what she was talking about, but apparently that is where Twilight was filmed. I told her I prefer my Mormon propaganda in the form of Tony award winning musicals.

Lucky! I love going down there. Being close to NOLA is probably one of the main things that have made this move so tolerable.

We went to a local parade here last Saturday; it was lots of fun but very family friendly...I want some daiquiris, lots of them.

Hmm I just found the policies and it does state that they have the rights to use it unless I provide written notification prior to the shoot. Which is not what they told me in person...not that it matters what they told me, I know that. But it kind of sucks. I might try to email and ask anyway.

My photographer used one of my wedding pictures for his main picture. I didn't mind, so I signed an agreement to allow him to do it. I'm sort of tickled that I'm on his front page.
