We went to high school and college together and have always been friends....
We dated for just less than 2 years when he proposed. Got married 16 months after that.

Totally agree! We started dating when I was about 25 1/2 and he was 26 1/2. Most of our friends/family are married and have been with their significant others for a long time. We were both finished with school by then so the relationship was very easy. He was also living on his own with a steady job and I was living with my parents to save money while looking for a permanent full time job for the first year we were together. He bought a house in October and I moved in with him then (even though I was always at his apartment anyway) and we were engaged 2 months later. We will get married just after my 28th birthday and his 29th bday

Yes!

I have a degree in psychology and DH's degree is in mechanical and metallurgy and materials engineering.

Where did you live? 2000-2001 I was in Holcomb. Then 2001-2002 I was an RA in Ellsworth. DH lived in Whitney from the fall of 2000 until December 2002.

I love the inseparable statement. DH and I had our first date on June 26th and we saw eachother almost every day after that. It was fantastic to know so fast that he was the "one". I didn't think that we moved faster because I am a little older, but perhaps it's just because I'm in denial about my age LOL
