Hair/Makeup suggestions

I'm getting married 10/15/11 and I'm lookinig for some recommendations for a hair/makeup person(s) for me and my MOH.  The ceremony and reception will be at the Waterview in Monroe so I'm looking for someone that can travel to me.  Hoping for something reasonalby priced.  Any recommendations would be appreciated.

The Waterview is beautiful! I just booked my makeup artist, Erin Infantino (www.simplygorgeousbyerin.com). She was recommended to me by a friend who used her. Her work is AWESOME and she travels to you the day of the wedding. Her work was just featured in Brides Magazine but you can also see her work on her site. A couple photographers I met with said she was great to work with too. HTH :)

A lot of girls on this board, me included, are fans of Dana Bartone :)

    Good luck!

Hair - Melissa Baylis, just had my trial this past weekend, LOVE IT!  weddinghairdresser.net

Make-up - Sharyn Scully from A Touch of Makeup.

They both own each of their business but had worked together for many years.  Price-wise I think they are reasonable.  I went with them because they don't have a minimum persons requirement.

<div>This. I just had my reception at the Waterview in October. The staff did a fantastic job!  Sharyn and Melissa came to my house in Orange. If you are within 25 miles of Shelton they do not charge traveling fee. </div>

I definately second Dana Bartone and Co. She and Lauren did a fantastic job for our wedding and even squeezed in my MIL in because her stylist canceled on her the night before... all before 8 am. They were also really great with combining different looks to acheive a look that compliemented the person they were working. I cannot sing their praises enough :)

Ditto Dana Bartone, they did an amazing job on me and my BM's who had their hair and makeup done. Janice did my makeup and Lauren did my hair. http://www.danabartone.com/

Larissa Lake is who I'm going with. She does amazing work with hair and makeup, plus she is such a sweetheart! She's been a recent fav on the board.

My little sister is just starting her freelancing career. She works with Chanel and went to school in Manhattan for costume and glamour make-up so she has a good background, and will probably be most economical since she is just get started in freelance.
