Shut up...I'm happy!

I've never noticed how many uptight people there are out there.  well, uptight, antsy, and on edge people.  I'm a very relaxed person, so to me (and everyone who knows me well) being relaxed the week of my wedding seems fine.  FI and I had a pot luck with his friends and their families last Thursday.  I can't tell you how many of those women commented on how relaxed I was so close to my wedding.  And when I asked "How should I be?" the said more stressed than I was.  I guess I don't understand why I should be stressed.  Everything is all ready, counts in to the caterer and baker, table seating figured out, place cards filled out, marriage license in hand...Now all I have to do is get pampered (hair nails and make up), put on a pretty dress, and marry my perfect man!  What's so stressful about that?

I guess I don't see the problem here.  You're relaxed.  Good for you.  Sometimes people just try to make conversation.

You know what.  People say that banana runts are gross.  And I have to agree.  They're shaped like bananas, and they kind of smell like bananas, but they're gross.  EW.

What's wrong with my daughter's name?  Shea was chosen because we wanted her to have a name that wouldn't have her being 1 or several in her class, and I'm from NY and a baseball fan.  Brooke was chosen because I wanted her to be named after my grandfather and his name started with a B.  As for the "almost Irish"...my fiance is Irish.  How can you assume anything from that?  Why the assumptions?

And since when does giving someone the same initial as someone else count as being named after them?

I will never be Irish, your right, however, my last name will be.  The almost Irish was my attempt at being cute...apparently I get a big fat "fail" for that one.  FI's dad is 100% irish, so that would make him at least 50%.  I don't know what his mom was.  I was just trying to put out there that there really is no need to stress so close to your wedding because, hopefully we're all marrying our perfect someone.  I don't know why there was this jab against who I'm marrying and what I chose to name my daughter, and why that had anything to do with my initial post.  This is completely rediculous.  I'm done.
