Centerpieces

These have been my biggest PITA yet!! I keep going back and forth, but I'm tired of it and want to just bite the bullet. I really don't like floral centerpices because I can't imagine spending so much on something that will die the next day. So, now I'm down to two choices:

Option 1:

3 hurricane vases with pillar candles and tea lights surrounding

Option 2:

Something like this, with a 10.5" hurricane vase, ivory rose petals in the bottm and votives and tealights surrounding.

Please help me pick one! I know they might sounds boring, but I just want classy and subtle. Thanks!

Re: Centerpieces

  • I really like the second one... very cost efficent but and the petals add a nice soft touch!

Do you think just the one hurricane vase will be enough?

  • yes... you could even do a combo of the two...one large hurricane with petals inside with a few votives around it like in the picture, and the other half f the tables could be 3 different size hurricanes w/o petels inside but petals outside surrounding the 3 vases. just an idea- i definitely think you are on the right track with these!

  • I like jonesma's idea for the centerpieces, I like when there are a couple of different options that all coordinate. I am not a fan of the mirrors however, but that's just me. lol

  • I like the second one but without the mirror. I think mirrors in centerpieces are very overdone. But yes, the petals add a nice touch!

  • Thanks all! And yes, I forgot to add that I will NOT be doing the mirror in the second centerpiece.

  • I like the idea of putting the two options together and creating a third option. :) I think the first option with rose petals would be gorgeous. I think the rose petals does soften it up and looks elegant.
