That's exciting! I haven't been to a wedding in forever.

I think I might be getting a tattoo on Monday. I'm nervous, but I haven't done anything young and stupid in a really long time, so I think I'll just go for it.

Tattoo! Already? I thought you were going to wait on it for a while. Young and stupid decisions are okay. But when they are permanent it makes things slightly more complicated.

Haha, I've waited for a while. I actually went back to an original design that I've been wanting for a while but got distracted from, so I have been thinking about it.

I've just been feeling so... old lately. I'm sick of overthinking things.

I think I finally found a design that incorporates everything I've been wanting my tattoo to represent, which is good, because I don't actually want more than one. It's the first design that I've been sitting with for a while that I've thought for sure that I will want on my body forever.

It is a green/white triquetra aka a Celtic triangle. It looks like this one...but green and white instead of orange and red and it's thicker.

Also, my friend hand drew it and the artist copied that design so that was a nice touch;)

The meaning is different depending on who you ask but to me, the over all meaning is unity. To me it's unity between spirit, mind and body and unity between family, friends and individuality.

Thanks, friend! I thought long and hard about it. I actually had the idea in my head since I was about 16. But didn't get it til I was 19/20. I had the design on my desk for almost 2 years before I decided that if I could look at it for 2 years on my desk then I could live with it on my shoulder for the rest of my life.

Besides, I hardly ever notice it. Sometimes I catch it in the mirror and I'm WTF IS ON MY SHOULDER?!?! Then two seconds later I feel like a moron cause it's my tattoo

I've always wanted one (when I was like, 17 I wanted a million. Which was completely ridiculous) and I've had several different designs going around in my head, but a little bird is the only one that has stuck around. I'm terrible at making decisions and if i don't do it now, I'll just constantly think I should and then never go through with it.

I have a tattoo on my forearm that's a simple black and white and everyone asks if it's real. No, I just walk around with a fake tattoo all day.

Thinking about getting my 3rd tat, a short latin phrase on my hip. The other 2 are discreetly placed too, so I'm thinking a 3rd won't be so bad.

Today ends my training conference in Lake Tahoe, and then I make the trek down to the Bay, where I will sit in BF's apartment until he comes home from visiting his mom in a couple days. Then it's him. And me. And me. And him. For a month

Desert - Are you with me on the fact that I'm totally over planning this wedding now. I just want it to be done! I'm handing things off left and right - the bouquets, the cake, etc - to my mom telling her to do whatever the heck she wants.

Just get me married and send me to Jamaica.

I'm soooo ready for the work day to be over and to be heading out to the river for the weekend! BF is off work and golfing this morning then getting the shopping done and packing up the cooler. Looking forward to letting loose, drinking some adult beverages, working on my tan and spending some time with some of my favorite people (BF, my dad and his fiance)
