Bridal Procession

I'm curious - how many of you are walking down to the traditional Bridal Chorus? I'm trying to decide if I want to walk down to Wagner's Bridal Chorus or Purcell's Trumpet Voluntary. Whatever song I choose will be played on a pipe organ. I like both songs, which is making it extremely hard to decide!!!

I think the "Here Comes the Bride" is corny. Purcell's Trumpet Voluntary is fine. We are using Canon in D Major.

My girls are walking to Ave Maria. I haven't decided if I want to walk to that too, or have the music change to let my guests know I'm walking (and crying...very emotional).

I'll do the traditional processional if my church allows it. If not, our processional hymn is "The Church's One Foundation."

If you have a reeeaalllllyyy good organist, Pachelbel's Fantasia and Fugue in C major is beautiful.

I'm a musician and have a bunch of musician friends, so my bridesmaids are going to walk down to "The Swan" from Saint-Saens' "Carnival of the Animals" (arranged for cello and organ), and I'm walking down to the overture from Monteverdi's opera "Orfeo" (arranged for organ and 2 trumpets).
