Second place we looked at, and think it's the one...The room was nice, the hotel is on site everything is cleaned, we met the maitre d and the head chef....only problem is they have a beetle problem and the sign is posted as you check in...it says for warm weather and my wedding is for November?! Who knows...I've read some nice things on line...but again it's the second place we looked at, unfortanely we don't like the grand package that is being offered for $50.00 for select dates...but it's reasonably priced and would get more for what the price is for the other place we looked at, The Bethwood...BTW, some one mentioned The Bethwood has a musty odor...YOU ARE SOOO RIGHT and I couldn't get that review out of my head when we were there....

    I am getting married at The Crystal Ballroom in August. I was just there on Wednesday for my taste testing and did not see any beetles - so I'm not sure what's up with that. I'm sure that could happen anywhere though, and I'd actually prefer to be made aware of any issues up front rather than finding out about them the hard way (they are very good about being up front with you here). At any rate, I love working with Amy, as well as Val and Ed - everyone there has been amazing. They are very accomodating and willing to work with you no matter what you're looking to do. I know a LOT of people who have attended weddings there and have heard nothing but amazing reviews on the food and service. I can't say enough good things about this place - I knew the minute I walked into the ballroom that this was the place, and once I met the catering team I knew they were going to be great to work with.

    I agree...I can't find a bad review about the place!!!

    I have the same feeling...I just have never been spontaneous...It took us 4 months to find/decide the apartment we are in, which was the first one we looked at LoL!

    I kinda gave away my "shock" for their value when Amy told us the price of the "Elite Package"  so I don't think there's much room on negotation...Rookie Mistake I s'pose.

    Soo the food was delish? That ballroom is amazing, clean and FRESH SMELLING!

    I got married at the Crystal Ballroom last August.  Everyone had a great time and raved about the wedding and food.  They were very nice to work with and really helped me have a great day.  If you have any questions PM me.

    FFBride, I've been hearing reviews just like your's...I'm really 95% sure this is the place...it's just too soon for me to make a decision, I spose.  Congrats on your wedding =)
