coordinating tuxedo with wedding gown

My wedding gown is antique gold, what color of tuxedo would go well/compliment my dress? He is avoiding a tradiitional black one.

    I'd like to know that as well.  From the description of your gown, a classic black tuxedo would hit the mark!

    i think balck would be aweful with a gold dress. it would just look miss matched. i would say go for a gray or even a tan

    Chocolate would be nice. But I think black would be fine. I'm wearing gold accesories with my off-white gown. My Fiance is wearing a gold vest under his black tux.

    Black goes with everything.  Any other color tuxedo will look weird and dated in 10 years (think powder blue or mauve tuxes that people wore in the 70s...)

    How about a charcoal colored tux? That's a nice compromise between gray and black.

    People are so close minded. Sounds like the way people use to be about a bride not wearing white. Black is fine. black is black, its expected and "the norm" but your dress is different and abnormal. so why souldnt your FI be just as different and awesome as your going to be? In the end nothing any of us say really matters. You shoud get what ever color tuxes you want. My opinion is that back is to plain to go with your gold dress. 

    Normal is boring. Different is fun.
