NWR: Greek yogurt

I just tried some recently but I think it was yoplait, so not sure how good that is. Had a lot of protein which is good cus I don't eat much meat.

whats the best (I.E. most nutritious/healthy) Greek yogurt to get?

I would assume that most Greek yogurt brands you see in the supermarkets are all fairly comparable.  I would stick with the plain varieties since the ones with added stuff (fruit, chocolate, etc) usually contain added sugar.  My go-to's are FAGE or Trader Joe's brand!

Me, too. They have a box of 12 at Costco for 10$ I think. It's a little cheaper than if you were to buy it individually.

I tried the plain and the ones with fruit in the bottom. Plain was good with honey & apples :)

The Record actually did a taste test... http://www.northjersey.com/food_dining/112364999_Battle_of_the__Greek_yogurts.html

The one that came out on top (Greek Gods) is made with whole milk - so lots of fat.

I find Greek yogurt chalky when it's fat free (hence, why I don't care for Chobani - I know they make 2% versions, but I can never find them).

Fage 2% is my favorite. The full-fat is even better. Trader Joe's 2% plain is all right.

Dannon has a "Greek" yogurt brand now. I personally like it more than Chobani - def. recommend it!

I think I saw the Dannon. Wasn't sure if it would be crappified by the ways of mass production :p
