s/o petting

i have a fur of my grandmother's. (yes, the animal activist has a fur) Anyway, when we were putting my closet together, my friend was petting it. My coat is nicer than her cat.

We have a fur of my grandmothers as well. Younger brother is moving into her condo in a few weeks, so we were finishing up the cleaning out and one of the last things in was her rabbit fur. Don't know where it will end up, but I wasn't about to send it to Goodwill. Grandma likely won't need it at assisted living.

It would be wasteful to throw away a perfectly good coat.   I mean, buying a NEW fur coat would be kind of cruel to the animals that died for it, and just supports a questionable industry.  But vintage fur is totally guilt-free:-)

Um....you know animals still died for the coat, even if it was before I was alive, right? And that wearing the coat also supports the questionable industry, right?

I think she missed that point. I doubt I could ever wear my Grandma's coat.

That was tongue-in-cheek.    Apparently my sarcasm didn't come across....
