All my guests can talk about is going to Lady and Sons. I know they don't have the greatest food, but that's what they want so I figured it would be a good place for a rehearsal dinner. Nope, they're booked on the day we need. They offered to put us in the dining room, but said we'd be limited to 1 hour and 15 minutes, and I'm pretty sure that it wouldn't be as quiet/private as I'd like.
Our hotel has a room we can use, so I figured I could cater from L&S - but their reviews are all 0/3 and every last person said the food was awful. Is it REALLY that bad? If it is, can anyone recommend a caterer that can do food for a small group? I'm looking for something along the lines of fried chicken, mac & cheese, biscuits, etc.... something that hints at the South, but won't show up our informal wedding luncheon the next day. Any suggestions?
