We had been dating for two years before he proposed. I was 19 when we first started dating, and 21 when we got engaged. We were engaged for two years so I could graduate and get a job. I turned 24 the day after our wedding!

We began casually dating in 2006, became serious and exclusive in July 2008, and he proposed in July 2011. So I guess almost five years.

Almost 7 years. We're also high schol sweethearts. He proposed in May 2011 and our 7th anniversary was Sept 25th 2011. We got married 2 weeks after our 8 year anniversary!

We had been together just shy of 2 years. What really throws me for a loop is that we moved in together after dating for 7 months! However, now that we've been blissfully married (for all of 4 days), I don't think it could have been any better.

Another high school sweetheart here! He proposed after about 8.5 years of dating. Started dating 11/6/02, engaged 5/15/11, and married 10/14/12. Our wedding date was actually 2 days after our 10 year anniversary from our first real date, which was our homecoming dance. We didn't officially become an exclusive item until 11/6/02 though.

Over 7 years. We are also high school sweethearts. I am so happy to be married, but sometimes when I think about it I am a little put off that all of the time, effort, memories and hard work is almost just dismissed once we got married.

Our now 8 1/2 years just seem like they are getting swept under the rug and we have to start all over with our wedding anniversaries!!
