How soon is too soon to get tuxes? I know most of us ladies have our dresses but has anyone looked at tuxe?

My fiance already knows what kind of tux he wants. But that's just because he got really bored at work one night and did some online tux designer on menswarehouse.com

I know some ladies already have the grooms tuxes picked out... My wedding wire check list that I use says I should get FI tux in January... If he wants to go look now I say go for it.

I went and picked tuxes out. The men in our WP who need tuxes are all coming to visit from far away throughout this next year and we wanted to already have tuxes picked out before then so they can just go get measured.

We actually went and picked out our tuxes in April. I went to a wedding fair and got a good price for the rentals so FI and I went and picked the ones we wanted out. Dark charcoal gray. :-) the girls will be wearing plum purple, and the guys currently have purple accessories but that may change if the color blue we want comes in.

We actually choose the tuxes the same day I bought my dress. When we attend a bridal show in January they were having a great deal if book before March, rent 5 tuxes get a complete suit for free. So not the guys just need to go get measured so FI can get his suit. Hopefully they do this before July because we have a wedding to go to and FI would like to use the free suit.

FI and I have casually looked but nothing serious. Also, there's pretty much only one place we can go since ones of the GMs is classfied as "big & tall" lol.

Ha so FI and I got a really good deal on the tuxes and ended up getting them in November (yes November lol). They did not make us put all the money up front. We did have to pay I believe $20 and then we pay the rest when we pick it up :-)
