Where was your first kiss with FI? Bonus points if you remember the date.

I don't remember the date, but it was after hanging out a few times. It was in the parking lot of an outdoor mall, at my car, across the street from a bar we had just met at for a late drink after I got off work at a restaurant in the mall. He walked me too my car and I giggled the whole way home!

I don't remember the exact date (it was so long ago), but I know it was the summer before we both went in to 6th grade. It was down the street at the R's house. We were playing truth or dare. They made this kid K make sure we really did it.

It was my first (and I think FI's) real kiss (you know, not just a peck on the lips kind of thing lol).

In my Dad's living room when he dropped my off after our first date date. We'd been hanging out for weeks. I couldn't tell you what the date was I have such a horrible memory. It was sometime in October I'm pretty sure. We became officially a couple Nov 3rd. The only reason I remember when FI proposed is its my Aunts birthday.

January 15th. We were talking in my kitchen. He stopped midsentence and said, "How come you haven't tried to kiss me yet?" I remember blushing like mad. He had me cornered (literally) between the fridge and dishwahser. Before I could answer, he kissed me.

It was at his friends parents house for a party. It was May, 29th 2005. I remember because it was the same day he asked me to be his girlfriend. We have been talking for 4 months prior but he was shy.

I couldn't tell you the date, just that we had been friends for about six months. I bumped into him in Minneapolis one night, he had a part time job as a bouncer. Anyway, I ended up losing the people I went down there with. He gave me a ride home, tucked me in and gave me a kiss good night. That was our first kiss. He stayed the night, but was a perfect gentleman. We were inseparable from that point on.

I feel awful that I actually do not remember. We started off as friends and he kissed me during our friendship. I wasn't a huge fan at first. I saved this conversation between my sister and I from AIM in the beginning:

Me: What do you do when a guy tries to kiss you with bad breath?

Sister: Turn your head and ask them if they are aware that they left their car lights on. Or tell him you were just tested for mono recently and are still waiting for the test results...oh and that you think its time for you to re-apply your herpes medication and call the doctor to see if your results are in yet.

Me: LOL

Sister: or pick your nose and eat it. Oh! Tell him you just farted and you're sorry for the smell...that tends to turn them off. Just kidding, but the car light one is pretty good, I think. Or playing dumb like you don't know what they are doing. You could always tell them you are waiting for marriage. Who was it?!

Me: No one

(I wasn't ready to tell who I was "seeing" yet as we were "just friends". This was about 2 years before we started dating!)

January 1, 2009 in his parents basement. We had spent the day watching movies and just hanging out. I had just put on lip chap and said it smells weird and asked him if he wanted to smell. He said no, but he would like to taste it (ha!) so we kissed. It was awkward adn my glasses got smudged. When he took me home I stopped in my driveway and said :that kiss sucked...you should kiss me again" so he did.

It was our first date. We had gone to dinner and then mini-golf after. While walking around the mini-golf course I kinda just turned and looked up at him (he's 15 inches taller then me) and it just happened :-)

Don't remember the date. We met at a wedding in July. Went out the first time in mid August of '06

The kiss... We had met up down by me so we went up the boardwalk for a while and played games in the arcade. Then we went to play pool. Towards the end of the night we went for a walk on the beach. We were standing on the jetties and I remember there being a lull in the conversation and there was some pretty obvious sexual tension. He said something along the lines of "well, this is getting awkward" and I responded with "You could make it less awkward." At which point he finally kissed me.

We were on a band trip out in California. The hotel we were in had this wierd lounge/lobby area with what seemed to be a porch at one time but had all been walled in. We were sitting there talking and watching other band members play some pool. I don't remember what led up to it, just that he kissed me.

November 25th, 2010 (Thanksgiving) in his room. We had gone on our first date that Tuesday and we saw each other on Wednesday as well. I went over to his house after our family Thanksgiving dinner and took him some food. He didn't go visit his family and he didn't have his two daughters, so I kinda felt bad that he was spending Thanksgiving alone. We were watching movies laying in his bed, and I just happened to close my eyes because I was really tired and he surprised me with a kiss. There was major chemistry going on, so I was just waiting for it to happen at any moment, but didn't expect it to happen then. I loved it! I actually stayed the night with him, fully clothed, cuddling and we both just feel asleep comfortably. That's when I knew he was something special.

July 1998. We knew each other in high school and wound up drunkenly kissing at a party 2 years after graduation. To be honest, I dont really remember it, but FI does so that's a good sign. Our official relationship kiss was July 5th, 2009.

October 18th, 2009, on his couch. We were roommates at the time and had been friends for 4 years. At the beginning of the month he had learned that he was going to be transferred to another location out of state. It hit us both hard, but neither of us was really talking about it. Then, that night, we were sitting on the couch watching a re-run of Chopped on Food Network (I know, tres romantique, right?). We were sitting rather closely and out of nowhere, he reaches over and pushes my hair behind my ear and kisses me. I remember being shocked, but pleased, and confused and so uncertain- he was leaving in two weeks. After a few more (intense) kisses, we both calmed down enough to talk about what this was and what we saw happening. We both knew and agreed we didn't want it to be some idle, passing fancy. I was so worried the long-distance thing wouldn't work. I'm really glad that all those worries were for naught.

November 13th, 2007

It was at my 21st birthday party that a friend was hosting at her house. It had gotten really late, and I had been drinking and was styaing the night. My FI (who was underage at the time and wasn't drinking) said it was too late for him to drive home. So my friend let us crash in their spare room. As I was falling asleep he whispered my name, when I rolled over to see what he wanted he leaned in to kiss me and totally missed. He ended up kissing my nose. We laughed about it and then he leaned in again and hit his target. To this day he kisses my nose before we go to bed.

May 18, 2010. We went out on a date (which I wasn't sure was a date until about 2/3rds of the way through the movie). I walked him to his car and we talked for a while and then I leaned up and kissed him. He argues that he kissed me, but I remember it differently.

Early May 2008. We had been hanging out for a few weeks and the attraction was starting to reach its breaking point, but neither had made a move yet. We had been out downtown for a few drinks, and when he dropped me at my apartment, we kissed for a while in the foyer. After he left, I promptly ran upstairs and woke my roommate up with my school-girl squeeling.

It was the night Michael Phelps won his eight gold in Beijing. Our first official date was the day the Cubs clinched the playoffs. He's a HUGE sports fan, so he remembers important things by sporting event.

At the end of a movie (Kung Fu Pow), FI felt bad it was all subtitles. At the end of the movie we both looked over at each other and leaned in to kiss. It was April 29, 2005.Two weeks later (May 12) he asked me to be his first lady (cheesy i know but it made me laugh), we have been together ever since.

It was our first date, the Friday before Thanksgiving last year. Nov 17 I think. We met at my favorite sushi place, and then went downtown to shoot pool. When it was time to leave, we really meandered back to my car - he stopped me and told me he had wanted to kiss me for hours, and asked if it was ok to do so.

September 6, 2005 at about 7:30 in the evening - we were hanging out in my dorm room (on the bed because there was no other furniture in there) with my roommate, listening to music and talking. Roommate went to the bathroom and FI leaned in for the kiss. This was about 2 weeks into hanging out in, and he had asked me (over facebook - he was so nervous about being rejected) to be his girlfriend earlier that morning. I remember getting mad at my roommate for playing the song Follow Through by Gavin DeGraw because the beginning of it goes "Oh, this is the start of something good, don't you agree?". I thought that FI would read waaaaaaay too much into and be scared off. It all seems so silly.
