I was looking at the flowers I am going to get and I didn't like any of the pictures of the men with boutonniere's. I think we are going to go with the handkerchief. What is everybody else doing?

Is there another flower in your bouquet that would look ok as a bout? Pocket squares are ok, especially if the guys are in tuxes. If they're just in suits it can look a little plain.

We're doing freesia bouttoneirres. It's a long simple flower, very elegant. I don't have a pic right now (posting from my iPad), but just google freesia bouttoneirres.

We are doing bouts for FI, FFIL, my dad, and my grandpa. The groomsmen will have pocket squares. I think that pocket squares plus a bout looks too busy.

We're doing pocket squares. I'm not a fan of bouts or flowers in general and FI didnt want a "girly, stupid flower" on his chest.

You could make them from feathers, from succulents, from pinwheel fans, all sorts of options. If you google search non floral bout, I'm sure tons of pictures will come up. I've seen some that incorporate what the groom is into like a super mario figurine or a small plastic plane. Good luck!

FI does not want a bout at all! I have already purchased some white calla lillies a while back for him and all the groomman's and dads though so I might try to convince him to wear those. I hadn't really thought of pocket squares so I will have to bring this up to him maybe he would like this idea.

I have also heard of people doing something they are interested in as their bout as ystaalenburg mentioned. That could be really cool!
