So I live about 20 miles from the towns in Indiana that were hit by the tornadoes Friday. Our area didn't have any damage and all my friends/ family in the area are fine although there were a few hours I didn't know.
I grew up in this area worked for some of the fire departments in the that were hit and still have several friends on those departments. One posted a picture of himself standing at the edge of some rubble on facebook today. Nothing unusual they post pics from scenes all the time but he commented saying he pulled it from youtube and someone had used it with a disturbing comment. Not much gets to these guys so I looked it up and could not believe what I saw. This person was excited about the damage caused saying Karma got them and things like this. The comment next to my friend's photo was "This is the best weather damage ever the man thinks as he dances." They've turned off comments to all of their videos so I can't vent at them to let them know what an ignorant POS I think they are.
What kind of person takes the time to do this with no concern for the people that lost everything, including loved ones? I know most vistims don't even have anyway to get on the internet given the current situation but I'm sure they have family members that might. I don't think this should be out there for them to possibly see someday. I'm torn because I really want the send this to the local news channels but obviously this person wants attention. It's just so frustrating to me that another human being would post this.
Ok thanks ladies vent over. Sorry for any grammar and formatting mistakes I get ahead of myself typing when I'm annoyed.
