Getting married under the tree of life in Audubon park - reception venues?

Hi -

I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for indoor reception venues near the tree of life in Audubon park - particularly venues that could host a late morning/early afternoon reception....

    Audubon Tea Room if you have over 100 guests and want something fancy. 
    Audubon Golf Club House (where I am getting married!) for something smaller and with southern charm)
    Audubon Zoo if you are the non-traditional type. 

    Just go to Audubon's website.  They're excellent and have tons of venues. 

    Also, what time of year are you getting married? May is caterpillar season (big, nasty, stinging, caterpillars) and they fall out of Oak trees like crazy.  I would definitely not recommend doing anything under the Tree of Life then (it's like the biggest oak ever).

    I don't know anything about it but I know someone having their reception at the Round Table Club (right next to Audubon park on the left side, if you're facing the park) at 6330 St Charles Ave. You could maybe look into that too.

    I looked at the Uptowner near there. It's pretty small, but very close to the tree.
