Hi Ladies! I haven't been around in a while but my wedding was this past Friday and I wanted to leave you all with my reviews before I forget
We won't be honeymooning until the 28th! (I hate the DH's job)
So here goes nothing and I hope some of you find these reviews helpful!
Bank of America Sky Terrace - B
Before I get into any negatives I just want everyone to know how beautiful this location is. We held our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception outside on the sky terrace and it was BEAUTIFUL! The sunset backdrop during our ceremony was gorgeous and the night was honestly beautiful with all the light from the buildings. I couldn't have been happier with the look and feel of the place. Tresha the coordinator is a little difficult to get a hold of, but came through the day of. She packed up all of our belongings and had someone walk us to our hotel room at the Hyatt next door. Everything they provided us with was perfect. However, we had on our contract yuengling and kettle one and neither were there. My DH mentioned it and they brought the kettle one but the yuengling was never ordered. We also weren't thrilled with the attitude of some of the workers, but whatever, it could have been worse.
Linens, chiavaris and dance floor were also included in the package so it's all one grade
Father Ricky - A+
We used Father Ricky on a recommendation from the BOA tower, he was so nice! We met with him once before the ceremony and he really did a great job the day of. He was sweet, to the point and quick! Just like we wanted. Highly highly recommend him if you can get him to give you a discount!
Scott Rowell - Ceremony Pianist B+
He was a friend of mine, and he's a student at the UM School of Music. He's very nice and did exactly what we asked for. My only down point is that he stopped playing! He played for a bit while the guests were being seated and when I walked down the aisle but he didn't play until the girls came out or when we walked had our processional.
IVAN APFEL PHOTOGRAPHY - A++++ (pending final images)
Ivan is a dream. He's so sweet you feel instantly at ease with him. He calmed me down so much before the ceremony. He's a fabulous photographer and I believe he captured all the moments beautifully. I only have seen a few images thus far and some on his camera the day of the wedding, but I have so much confidence in his work. I can't wait to see the final images, I know my husband and I will cherish the photos for years to come.
Ana Paz Cakes - A+
The cake was beautiful and simple, exactly what I asked for and OMG delicious! Everyone loved it.
Mr. Bee's Cakes - A+
We used Mr. Bee's for our Grooms cake, we had a frog made with a crown and it was beautiful. We also ordered it in Red Velvet the DH's favorite flavor and it was soooooo gooooood!!
DJ Mike - A+
He's a friend of my husband's and he was awesome. Everyone said they were dancing during cocktails because the music was awesome. It was the perfect mix of everything we wanted, latin, 80s, light rock and dance music. The dance floor was full all night.
THE PRICE IS UNBEATABLE!!
Mystical Memories by Maggy (BM dresses) C
Maggy was so sweet during the process but when the dresses came in everything became a disaster. The dresses needed to be hemmed and fitted and whoever they use as a seamstress needs to find another day job. The dresses weren't ready til 1AM the night before my wedding! One of my BMs had to go pick them up at that time. How ridiculous is that? Also, they were still ugly!!! The hem work was terrible and looked like I had done it. Really really unhappy with that. The dresses were so pretty, but if you looked down at the hem it was a disaster.
Victoria Marisela Couture - A+
Marisela made my wedding gown, I took her a few pictures and she told me what fabric and extras to buy. It was perfect, everything I could have wanted and it fit perfectly. We made it so the skirt from the knee down was removable so I had two dresses in one.

HOPE EVERYONE HAS A WONDERFUL WEDDING! IT'S AN AMAZING EXPERIENCE, BUT ENJOY IT BECAUSE IT GOES BY WAY TOO FAST!!
