I have not heard anything about it. I do know that Bon Appetit does wedding's out there and they own part of the beach. You might want to look into that. Esp if you are from out of town, they might be able to help you plan a little more. It's a beautiful beach though! Hope that helps!

somebody correct me if i'm wrong..but the only negative about having it there is that I do not believe you can have alcohol for the reception or even cocktail hour

Thank you for the advice.  I'll check with Bon Apetite- nice place had a few functions there in high school when I lived in Florida.  Thanks!

I did a tour there with Angela from Honeymoon Island.  You can have alcohol there but they price it really weird.  They charge $35 per person per hour of open bar...which is ridiculous.  Or you can pay by drink and Angela would total it all up.  It's weird but 100 person wedding we thought would be about $3k roughly for drinks.  I did love the location and the privacy of the beach.  The problem for me is that ALL of my guests are OOT and so we'd have to rent buses to get people there.  We didn't want to deal with the chaos of people missing the bus and getting lost if they did.

My fiance and I just took a tour there Sunday. The location is definetely unique along with the alcohol pricing. We are planning on 200 guests so had to go with the large tent option, but the pavillion will hold 80. The food menu had  some island flair, if thats what you are going for and you can see them online.
