Inexpensive Florist?

Flowers really aren't on they high end of my budget. Just wondering if anyone used or is using someone budget friendly? Some of the places I have come across have a $2500 minumum and that just seems a bit much. TIA!

I've read that some people DIY and buy grocery store flowers

We are using Carrie Anne Powell.  She has many ideas for all different budgets, and our is definitely on the lower end of most budget scales. She has different suggestions to help you get what you want within your budget.  We wanted sunflowers and only sunflowers so that made it a little less expensive than if we wanted 2 or 3 different flowers, she can order the flowers in bulk.  She was very easy to work with when we were talking about what we wanted.  She also gave us our quote very quickly.  She was our hands down choice.  We can't wait to see what see creates for our October wedding.
    Here is her website:

Another bonus for Carrie, she is quick to respond to communications. I hope you check her out.

Yikes, not sure where you're looking, but that's not the norm. My florist was Brides & Butterflies in Adamsburg (probably not your area). I paid $800 for my bouquet, 3 BM bouquets, 3 wrist corsages, 10 bouts, 2 altar arrangements, 2 roses for the mothers, and flower petals scattered around the centerpieces at the reception, on the cake table, and to throw down the aisle. Just to give you an idea!

I used Blumengarten Florist in the strip and they will work with whatever budget you have. Mine actually came in a little under budget when all was said and done, so that was a nice surprise.

Kim - Thanks! Someone actually recommended B&B and I called them on Saturday to set up a consultation - haven't heard back yet.

H - If I don't have any luck with the two I called this weekend, I will try Blumengarten!

I'm probably going with Hearts and Flowers, in Allison Park... they are WONDERFUL to work with, and the estimate she gave me was about $1900... It's still a little high, but her work is AMAZING (I've never seen such beautiful, fun arrangements), and it was still less than what I was thinking it would be.  Her website is heartsandflowersfloral.com.  I've also looked into Blumengarten, and their website actually has a list of prices for three different levels of flowers, which I thought was REALLY helpful.  Good luck!
