I bought mine at David's - the one at Park Meadows. With such a huge selection I did lots of looking on-line first so my experience was pretty smooth. I'm not super fashion-forward (I guess) so I really didn't care about designers, etc. My dress was $99 - cheaper than my veil!! And I love it.

I went to numerous places, but I have to say that Bridal Collection in DTC is the best place out there. I found my dress there, got 1 on 1 attention and the prices where great and quality of the dresses awesome!

Actually, I started and ended my dress shopping yesterday at David's. Didn't expect to find "the one" but my friends and I did! It ended up being off the $99 dollar rack, and is GORgeous! The sales associate I had was also very helpful. We went to the one in Aurora

I got my dress at D'Anelli's, they had an awesome selection. Customer service was not great though, and my alterations were pretty awful. I think it's hit or miss depending on who your consultant and seamstress are, but they have dresses in all price ranges. There is also a store next door that sells off the rack from their samples.

Bridal Collection has great customer service and beautiful gowns, but more expensive. There are a couple stores in the Springs that are good too.

My photographer has straight up asked me not to go to David's. Basically he said it's a nightmare, and for someone like me who needs serious fashion guidance I have to agree with him. I've heard good things about Blue Bridal downtown. I believe their gowns range from about $500 to $4,000 or so. Designer boutique but lower all around prices than a lot of other places. I also found one at Priscilla's of Boston that is absolutely gorgeous. I may end up getting it, but I want to do a little more shopping before I decide.

PoB is the only place I've tried things on so far, but the customer service was really good and the dress I might get is somewhat reasonable for a designer gown, about $2,000. It helps that my mom is planning on paying for it though.

I went to David's.  I was very apprehensive at first as the customer service I've heard can be terrible.  We went to the one located in Westminster (92nd and Sheridan).  I must say, I could not have been HAPPIER!  The customer service was great and we were able to get the bridesmaid dresses and my dress all at the same time, PERFECT!  Amanda was our consultant and she was fabulous.  Her customer service was great and her personality was stellar.  I'm not a super girly girl and the dress buying was somethng I was NOT looking forward to.  Thanks to Amanda at David's Bridal (and my wonderful sister, cousin, and future mother-in-law) the dress shopping was a blast and not at all what I was expecting to dread!

I have some dresses picked out online from DB that I would like to try on, but I am a little nervous about heading there too. I am really excited to check out The Alter though, its a bridal consignment boutique. With everything 40-75% off, I think I will take an open mind and a peak at what they have to offer before I go to DB. Besides, I really want to see if I can find something vintage.

I'm going dress shopping for the first time today at Celestial Bride. A friend swears by the place. I'll let you guys know how it goes. I'm actually really interested in that consignment place. There is also a place that rents dresses if anyone is interested, it's called Bridal Budget Boutique.

I also got my dress at D'Annelli.  Loved the selection and I got great service from Jena Rae.  I know there are mixed reviews about this shop but everyone I have worked with has been really nice so far.  My SIL to be also got her dress there and worked with Camille.  Neither of us have needed alterations so no idea how that will go.  The only other place I tried on dresses was DB and the girl that was helping me had two other brides also.  She kept putting me in a dress and then walking away for 15 - 20 minutes at a time.  It was really frustrating.

I bought my dress from Davids at Park Meadows and had no problems at all.  I went to several places and here are my opinions:
D'Anelli's - it was a bit crowded (not much mirror time) but the staff was way friendly, good choices, small-ish dressing rooms
Amanda's was wonderful, great service there, large-ish dressing rooms, not bad on mirror space, great choices
Celestial - again wonderful service, good dressing rooms, but limited mirror space, fairly good choices on dresses in a wide range of sizes
Chiyos - really good service, nice selection, decent sized dressing rooms, not a lot of plus size dresses, limited mirror space

    Hope that helps...

I am going for the first time to David's Bridal in Park meatows this weekend.  I am a little nervous.  I really want to check out this funky bridal store in the Highlands which has consignment, couture, miscellaneous but since I am not a siz 2 not even a size 6 I don't think anything there will fit. :(
I will think about it after this visit! Wish me luck!!

I had a great experience at Amanda's Bridal in Arvada. Leah was amazingly helpful and kind. And the dress prices start on the cheaper side $100 (?) and then go on up. They helped me find what I liked in my price range and it was stress free. They're doing my alterations and dyeing my shoes, too. I highly recommend Amanda's.

I started w/ David's and was REALLY excited after doing tons of research on their site.  Once I got there, things went downhill.  They only had 4 dresses in my size (20) and none of the ones I picked out online.  She only put me in the 4 that were my size (which ALL turned out to be huge on me, so obviously I was not a 20).  I didn't know at the time, you can try on any size dress and they can make it "fit" you at least in the mirror.  My consultant was rude and juggling me and another bride.  I was thinking I wanted an all red dress at the time and she was trying to talk me into buying two dresses, one white, one red.  Huh?  If I'm spending $$ on a dress, I'm going to wear that sucker all night long!

Anyway, ended up at Amanda's.  My MOH got her dress there last year and the customer service is amazing.  My consultant was Sherri and she sized me just by looking.  I tried on every and all dresses that my heart desired, no matter the size.  Sherri gave me advice on what would fit my body shape the best and took my personality into account when helping me pick styles.  LOVED HER!  Anytime I call back, I end up getting Leah who is super nice and helpful with all my questions (pregnant BM, order time, etc).  They also gave me a discount on my dress and all my BMs dresses since my MOH ordered there too.

Every time I go in, Sherri calls me by name and I feel they really care about their customers.  They are not in it to make a sale (like I felt at David's).  Their selection is large and they have a lot of price options as well.  Could not rave about Amanda's more! <img src="http://cdn.cl9.vanillaforums.com/downloaded/ver1.0/content/scripts/tinymce/plugins/emotions/images/smiley-laughing.gif" border="0" alt="Laughing" title="Laughing" />
