PSA - Groupon is for B-pics. Has anyone used Joan & Company?

Good (but yucky) Morning Ladies!

Today's Groupon is for a b-pic session with Joan & Company.  I'm contemplating getting one of the packages then give as a gift for our 1 year anniversary in October.

Questions: Has anyone used Joan & Company before? Thoughts?

Also, they are offering 3 packages listed below.  For those that have done pics, did you feel rushed if you only had an hour?
  • For $149, you get a one-hour session, five edited photographs on CD, and one 8"x10" print (a $350 value).
  • For $299, you get a 90-minute session, 10 edited photographs on CD, and three 8"x10" prints (a $750 value).
  • For $349, you get a 90-minute session, 20 edited photographs on CD, an 11"x14" print, two 8"x10" prints, and three 5"x7" prints (a $950 value).

An hour was plenty for me.  I still got a lot of good pictures.

The last package you listed isn't that far off from McGowan Images...and hers includes an album.  She just launced a new blog specifically for this:

Hmmmm, the first package sounds good except for only 5 edited photographs.  If you are wanting to do a book, that is not enough--although I did use some unedited ones in mine, I used all 10 of my edited ones.  That's why the mini-sessions are so perfect--you get 10 edited photographs for less than that second package (and you can always make prints yourself).

I didn't feel too rushed but I do think you would get more variety in a longer session.
