Gripes

When someone posts something like: "Worst Day Ever..." on facebook.  WHY?  Why do they post this?  Do they want responses like, "OMG, STACY!  What's wrong?  I LUV U."  or inquiries to their well being?  Either elaborate or don't post in on facebook. Whores.

What are your gripes?

Re: Gripes

  • My friend posted on facebook that relationship status on FB is BS so people asked why, she explained that because when you break up with someone, everyone asks what's wrong and she hates that. Few hours later she posts "sometimes love isn't enough". Seriously, if you don't want people questioning you keep it the eff off facebook.

  • I *thought* I was up for at least testing for a promotion at work, and I was freaking out and so excited.

They posted the job on CL on Tuesday, and even though I'm checking CL eleventybillion times a day, I missed it. Now I feel like I missed my chance, and I'm unsure of what to do next. AND my supervisor decided to take the day off today, so I don't really have anyone to talk to about it.

  • We're in the process of moving people around at work and my gripe is with those who b!tch and complain that "His office is bigger than mine." or "Why don't I get a window office?".  Um, guys, we've had a crapton of lay offs this past year - shouldn't you just be happy you still have a job?

  • I hate when people post vague, but seemingly important, announcements then won't elaborate.  Like "I can't take much more of this..." or "is now single" then disappear for a day.

  • I have a couple. My DH is home officing today, so he is right there by the grocery store, but he wants me to stop at the store on my way home. I was just there yesterday, why cant you go? Argh!

I just had a woman come in my office to ask me about a store that was here in 97, but obviously is gone now, I've never heard of it neither has my Marketing manager. Well she knew it was here.....AND? I have no idea the purpose of the whole conversation. And she wore her sunglasses the whole time.

Avs, seriously?  I felt bad that my MOH bought her own dress...  There's no way in hell I'd make her pay for flowers that she was going to hold for all of 15 minutes.

My 15yr old neice put something about HS being hard and then "FML" the other day on FB, and I asked her what it meant. She said "Um, Fun Means Learning!" LMAO! I then told her that was awesome, and her mom was going to be so proud when I taught my 9yr old and her 7yr old sistser "FML" and told her I learned it from her daughter. I don't know if she ever figured out that I already knew what FML meant. :)

I know, I still dont understand her point of arguing with me. Apparently she used to work there, and it sold high end clothing, she proceeded to tell me what she paid for her leather coat and mohair sweater. I thought she'd never leave.

And I have never had a dishwasher in my 45 years on this earth. And the deal in our house is DH cooks, I clean.
