My mother is seriously out to take over my wedding!! FI and I spent Easter weekend with her and she has now started saying "my wedding"!! And his parents were super rude the entire weekend as well, calling our two dogs (who are our children!!!) evil canines from hell because they weren't getting along with their "perfect little angel" (who is an AWFUL dog). FI has been trying to keep the peace, poor thing, but the future daughter in law will never come out on top. I'm wishing more and more we could just elope!!

Also, the closer it gets and the more things are adding up, we won't be able to have a honeymoon until the year AFTER we get married! Idk if I should be worried about it but I have always planned on leaving the day after and am really upset about it..

Because we got married in the middle of my school year (and, as it turned out, two weeks after H started a new job), we decided to take a "mini-moon" to Fredericksburg, and planned to go on the real honeymoon in June. The closer we get to June, the more unlikely it seems that we'll be going (what with buying a house and possibly starting a family soon and whatnot), but we're saving up to make sure we get to take a trip when we're ready to go and his work life isn't so hectic.

I know it really sucks to not get to have that experience of leaving the next morning for some tropical paradise, but it will certainly work out in the end (plus, H and I got to sleep in, have brunch with family who had traveled from all over, and laze around our apartment and open gifts with no rush the day after our wedding!)

And I am sorry about your parent drama. Hopefully it will smooth over. =(

Thanks, I hope it does too...and a mini-moon wouldn't be too bad I suppose. We had anticipated on going to Paris but it doesn't seem likely until the following June. Just as long as me and him are together, i'll be happy

I am so on the verge of getting several things done (but not yet done) that I am getting super irritated with all of them and am almost to the "whatever, I don't care, let's just pick one and move on" stage. This goes for: DJ, honeymoon, and WP. Haha. Sad.

Also, longest. day. EVER!!!

My work day is finally over, now maybe my crabby mood will be over. I'm hoping boxing will help with this. Punching a bag seems like a good idea.

We did this for what seemed like FOREVER with the catering and honeymoon, and then all the sudden <em>in the same day</em> we finalized our catering contract and finally got in contact with our travel agent to BOOK the resort we'd been looking at,
I couldn't believe the luck. It will happen for you!

I need to do that. I should probably look at the class schedule for the gym this week. I had every intention of doing BodyPump or kickboxing Saturday, but my mom took us furniture shopping for our wedding present instead
