So apparently there is this show, where rich hollywood people give money to other people if they decide their cause is "worthy". They just gave a kid 8 grand to represent the US in the world tap olympics in Germany.

Now there's a couple who wants 75k for their dream wedding. They aren't even engaged yet because she wants a 2 karat Tiffany ring before he's allowed to ask her to marry him. The people are like...are you two nuts?

Exactly! Enough money can buy love...or at least it can buy enough crap to make up for the lack of love. Right...right...

For a while I was scared they were going to say yes. One was talking about how she understands wanting the perfect dress for the perfect day, blah blah blah. Then goes "it means more when you earn it yourself, so no"

Before I turned it off they gave a guy 12k to take his mom on a European Cruise. One of the judges was like "well it will mean more to her if you earn the money yourself" Um..hi..we don't all make a million dollars a year here...Then they voted yes because his mom has apparently had breast cancer twice and they wanted her to enjoy the cruise while she could.

I saw previews for that show. I would NEVER give the money to those who wanted it because they wanted a cool wedding...why not give it to a cancer research fund, or people who can't afford to buy food?!
