Summer wedding, near the water - fairly informal.

What colour do you like better?

I say do both like the 2nd picture! Personally I love weddings with a dark color and a bright accent color- it's so sophisticated and modern.

im partial to purple... anytime of year. you can get some really pretty pink, lavendar, green, yellow summery flowers to make the dresses pop.

Different shades of purple are my colors. So I'm biased. But I do like the idea of adding the yellow flowers. That would be so lovley for a summer wedding. Have fun with it.GL

I haven't even looked at the pictures, but dark purple is an easier color for most people to wear than yellow.

I am also having a summer outdoor wedding and my colors are the canary yellow from davids bridal and then more of a lavender, pastel purple. The canary yellow is more pale and hopefully easier for my girls to wear since that is the color I picked haha. Anyway, I couldn't decide between them either so when I was thinking about going with both I went to a local paint store and got some of their swatches and looked at them together. yellow is the "IN" color this year, so naturally i would pick purple instead so that my wedding party doesnt look like everyone elses

Most women look better in purple than they do in yellow. My vote is for the purple.

I prefer yellow but more people are able to pull off purple then yellow. Ask your BMs whether they can wear yellow or purple.

I love the yellow!

It looks so pretty next to the water in the picture. You could always have dark purple bouquettes for a color contrast. I just think that yellow looks so nice and beachy. The purple is also pretty, in my opinion it just seems more formal. However, I will agree that not everyone can pull off yellow. But if your bridesmaids have a nice tan, I think yellow is the way to go.
