Happy Friday / WE Plans?

Happy Friday ladies!  This week's been long for me.  So glad it's almost over!

Any weekend plans?  I'm going with my FI to see The Avengers tonight.  He's SO excited; I'm kind of surprised he didn't make me go at midnight, haha!  This is the second straight week of dinner and a movie for us, which is nice.  I was feeling like all we ever did was stay home and fall asleep pn the couch by 10:30!

Saturday's a job fair at Heinz Field...I'm applying for a summer/weekend position in the Fall to work merchandise at Steelers/Pitt Panthers games, as well as concerts.  I live near the stadium and lovelovelove football, so fingers crossed!  

In WR news, I booked my DJ!  I think I found my videographer, too, pending further discussion with the FI.  And, we'll officially hit the 11 month mark on Saturday!

    FI is going into NYC with his dad for a concert tonight which means I get to have date night with my DD.  We usually sit on the couch eating chips and watch Beauty and the Beast.

    Saturday we are meeting a bunch of FI's friends from work for dinner and then going out to celebrate Cinco de Mayo.  We also have to clean because on Monday someone is coming to deep clean our apartment.  (my mother's day gift from my mommy)

    Sunday we are attending a baptism and his cousin is having a party.

    I am so grateful it is almost the weekend.  I think this has been the longest week in a long time!

    Tonight I am going to celebrate my younger cousins birthday, he is 14 or 15 now. I feel old, because I used to babysit him when he was young.

    Tomorrow I have my cousins baby shower, and I am excited to see all of my family. After I will probably go to the bar to celebrate cinco de mayo.

    Sunday I have declared wedding planning day to FI, so hopefully we get some stuff done.

    I'm going to visit my mom tomorrow, then FI and I are going shopping for Mother's Day gifts. Sunday I work, and then having a family dinner, so I am really excited for that =) I also want to work on narrowing the guest list and adding addresses, ect.
    But most exciting of all.. today was the last day of waking up for work at 3am, and now I am back to normal people hours, which means I can have a social life this summer!! Yaaaaaay

    My DS and I are headed to my aunt's house on Saturday. He LOOOVES playing with her kids out on the farm.

    Then, Sunday we are headed to FI's house to hang out. We have a ton of spring cleaning to do before DS and I officially move in on the 18th!

    My younger cousin graduated college yesterday and I planned a little group party type thing at the local piano bar for her tonight...her friends are all young but we are close so she insists I be there, regardless, it'll be fun.  Truth:  I feel weird dropping hundreds of bucks on a party for her and her friends but none of them stepped up when I was planning something (hell, they didn't even want to pay a cover to a club or bar: here it's typical to pay to get in places unless you know someone).  I want it to be special for her so oh well- she did plan my engagement party after all :) /vent over.
    Tomorrow I have a baby shower I helped plan and Sunday I will sleep...if the kiddos/FI let me lol :)

    I have a super busy weekend! One of my interns is graduating college tomorrow so I am going to her graduation party after work then on Sunday it's one of my good friend's birthday so we are doing brunch (I love brunch, one of the best meals!).

    My FI and I are setting FINAL final plans for time & place we are getting married this weekend. It took him forever to finally sit down and discuss what he wanted to do (but that's a whole other rant....) then I get to book the venue!!! So excited!
