Pennsylvania-Pittsburgh

Have you attended the Pittsburgh Bridal Show before?

Just soliciting opinions - is this worth it?  Are there deals to be had by the vendors?

Appreciate anyone's post.

I went to the one last year, I had a great time at it. You can really make a whole day out of it. There are lots of booths with food samples and you get a ton of information. If you are in need of a lot of vendors then I would say it is a good idea to go. Also a good number of vendors do give discounts if you book that day or with in a certain time frame. But a helpful hint, bring address labels containing your name, contact info (including email, phone #, address), wedding date to put on vendor cards and to make it easier to enter contests.

I went to the Cavanaugh show in March with my mom and my sister and that is where I found the vendor for our photobooth! We had a lot of fun trying out all of the different booths and had a good selection to choose our favorite from. I also won a free engagement photo session. Definitely a good idea to go if you haven't booked vendors yet. I agree with the address stickers if you have them - otherwise you will be writing your info down 100 times!

I liked the Cavanaugh bridal show. It was really crowded but I got some good ideas. And the FI loved all the food. I think he stopped at every cake sampling they had there. He left miserably full :-)
