Hi Knotties! I'm doing my searching a little backwards. I'm looking for a caterer first because my fiance and I have deemed this as one of the most important parts of our reception. We have big families and they are big eaters. They want to do a potluck of favorites but we want everyone to just kick back and relax.
Anyway, we are looking for a caterer who is well known at doing traditional Kentucky/southern style dishes. I'm talking hot browns, burgoo, stack cakes, fried chicken, derby pie, etc.
I'm finding all the "typical" places and some either provide similar things on their menu or offer a customized menu but they are RIDICULOUS! We want someone local and buys local.
Any suggestions?
