looking for DJ recommendations.

My wedding reception is at 7 Bridges in Woodridge IL.  If you've never been to the venue it has 2 rooms 1 room that will be set up as ourI dinning room and a 2nd attached room where the bar is located, this room will also be where the DJ and dance floor are set up. 

I'm in need of a few recommendations for good DJs that won't take too much our of our budget....I'm talking under $1000 here. The DJs that are on the recommended vender list at 7 bridges are WAY out of our price range.  

If you are having/had your wedding at 7 bridges or been to a wedding there I would love to hear about what DJ was used. Even if your wedding is at a different venue but you have a great affordable DJ I would love to her about them!

    We are using At-Your-Service Entertainment.  They are based out of Lake in the Hills.  I can't give you a review for the wedding yet, we still have four weeks to go.  What I can tell you is that Scott, our DJ, has been really accomodating and he had a lot of great reviews.  We are paying $825 for 6 hours.  Here is his website:

    We are using Chicago Mobile Djs and got a great price. Also, I think someone posted about this a little while back, so maybe do a seach on this board.

    Lou from Midwest Productions is $795.  He was AMAZING!!! Midwestproductions.com

    We are having our reception at Seven Bridges Signature Events in Woodridge.  We are using Music by Design.  They were really affordable and came very HIGHLY recommended!

    We are using Don at XL Entertainment, who is under $1000.  I remember reading a post a while ago about DJ's.  Others that come to mind are Windy City Mix, Toast and Jam, and Spinnin Dj's (not sure on the spelling).

    I think Don of XL-Entertainment is one of the best.  His performance quality is head and shoulders above those other DJs that charge over $1200.  In my mind, that's just a way for some guys to take advantage of a couple getting married.

    My cousin DJs at Maple Ave. Pub and also does weddings.  The DJ we are using for our wedding also DJs at Maple.  If you aren't sure where that bar is it's right down the street from Seven Bridges at the corner of Maple & Rte. 53.  They both work for/own their own DJ services but I can't remember the names.  Prices are pretty good.  They will probably both be at Maple tomorrow if you are in the area and want to stop in.  Otherwise if you give me your email I can pass it on to them.
