Designing invites - DIY

I am planning on designing my own invites but don't know what to do about envelopes.  For those of you who have made your own invites, what did you do for envelopes?  Is there a place you can buy blank cards that come with envelopes and the RSVP card and envelopes that allow you to print whatever you want on them?  Thanks!!!

    You should try Michael's or any craft store.  That is where we got everything to make our invites, return cards, envelopes, etc.  For the blank cards, we bought cardstock paper at Michael's (they sell individual sheets in every color under the sun in the scrapbooking section) and just used a paper cutter to make them the size we wanted and then put a nice border around the edges of them to fancy them up a bit.

    If you go to the North Carolina-Outer Banks board you will see my post from this morning for my DIY starfish invitations.....love them!

    Just watch for coupons if you're going the DIY route.  Michaels, DeSerres, Hobby Lobby and other craft stores put out 40% or 50% coupons.  Michaels often puts their invitation kits on sale.  

    Just watch for the sales and you'll save lots!
