Anyone REGRET having a videographer?

My fiance really does not want a videographer for our wedding. Personally, I'm "on-the-fence" about the issue. I think it would be nice to catch the moments I'll inevitably miss, but I'm concerned that 20 years from now it'll just be a $2000+ piece of out-dated video footage sitting at the back of my closet. Has anyone hired a videographer only to regret the expense later?

Trust me you will REGRET not having one. Even though I only watch it once in a while my dad who passed away is on there & that to me is priceless!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I agree! Don't pinch pennies on this one. Make sure you have a good videographer and that you like their style because a poorly made video won't be worth it. My wedding was last month and I almost didn't get the video to save money, but now it's my very favorite thing from the wedding.
