We are still trying to agree on a destination -'torn between Italy or a Caribbean/Central American destination. Just wondering - where is everyone going? And are you leaving right after the wedding? Any tips or advice?

We are going to Belize. Central america flights are generally cheaper so that's how we choose our location. And we want to do some awesome snorkeling and diving!

We are leaving right after the wedding for 12 days. Can't wait!

Still deciding, FI coaches an olympic sport so he will be running camps after the wedding. We will probably go to London for the Olympics in July so I think going to Italy/Greece afterwards would be perfect.

FMIL wants to get us sposi novelli tickets to meet the Pope (Your wear your wedding attire, sit in the front row of Pope's audience and receive a wedding blessing at the end) but we have to go within 2 months of our marriage.

We are going to Guatemala for a week! I'm so excited to go hiking volcanoes, see Mayan civilizations, and go on other adventures with my FI there. We are staying in a bungalo at Soleil Pacifico right on the pacific ocean.
We are leaving the day after our wedding... not the best but the resort only allows check ins on Saturdays since they do a welcome night dinner.

We looked at all those areas too. What do you really want to do on your HM?

We are leaving the Wednesday after and are doing a 17 day trip to europe. 12 days of it will be on a cruise visitng Spain, France, Italy and Croatia.

gosh... I dont know really... I'm kinda scared to go to an island resort because I'm worried we will be bored or it will be too cheesy/commercial. We do get bored easy and dont like run of the mill stuff. Also, I cant swim so that eliminates a lot of activities. (Almost drowned as a toddler so ive always been scared of water). Looked at private rentals on the beach on various islands, but on those then I'm worried we would be too isolated! And I read reviews that bugs abound. :( I finally found a place I really liked in Costa Rica, but the total price ends up being close to what we would spend going to Italy. I liked the idea of Italy where we could travel up and down the coast and sightsee, and have an apartment with great views of the sea.

We have looked at all kinds of ideas. Originally we wanted to go to Alaska and do a week fishing expedition. However, that was way out of the budget. Then we thought of doing a train trip honeymoon, but that was nixed.

We have finally kind of agreed on a place. We are looking at Yellowstone. There is a ranch that we can do both horseback riding and trout fishing and still being able to enjoy Yellowstone. Cody, WY also has a rodeo that we would like to go to.

I know its not a trip to HI or anywhere with the beach, but this fits us perfectly.

I am looking forward to it. We just need to book everything.

We are going to Secrets Maroma beach from July 4th to July 11th. Leaving a few days after the wedding because I am so many out of town friends coming to visit and July 1st is Canada Day that we want to keep the party going

Not 100% sure right now. My vote is Hawaii and until FI comes up with a better option, Hawaii it is. He's been there before, so I don't thin he's thrilled about going again, which I understand, but when I ask him where he wants to go he doesn't have any suggestions!!! So it'll probably be Hawaii. We aren't going until last week of July/first wee of August.

Were going to FIJI! A mostly all inclusive "Qamea" all included except alcohol. We will fly out from the East Coast to California on either Monday or Tuesday after our Saturday wedding. We fly out from LAX on that Tuesday eve for Fiji and actually arrive there on a Thursday due to the time difference! We are there for 7 nights! I cannot wait. Only 17bures on the island!!

All your HM's sound amazing! I think my favorite so far has been Belize! That sounds SO cool.

We're going to Ireland!!! Leaving the next day, Sunday night, since it will be a LONG flight. We're flying into Galway (staying for 3-4 days), moving on to Cork to kiss the Blarney Stone, after a day in Cork we are ending in Dublin and staying 4-5 days.

We are actually booking our flights tonight!

We are 99% going to only have a mini moon in Hawaii after the wedding. We'll probably spend about 3 days on the Big Island and then take our big trip next year sometime to the caribbean. And then we're planning to take a baby-moon trip around Europe possibly in 2014!

We are having our destination wedding in Dominican Republic.The honeymoon starts the night of the wedding. The resort had three sides. We are moving to the adult only /VIP section for our HM. We will be able to go out to see our guest. However, they will not be able to come on our side to see us.

We haven't booked yet but are pretty sure we are going to Secrets Maroma Beach in Riviera Maya. We will leave the day after our wedding (sunday) and stay 7 nights! I can't wait!

We just booked!

We are leaving the Thursday (July 5th) after our June 30th Wedding for Couples-Swept Away in Negril, Jamaica.

We will spend a week of sun-filled, amazing all-included bliss before returning on Thursday, July 12th.

We are flying out of Chicago (3 hours away) so we will probably spend Wednesday, July 4th and Thursday, July 12th in a hotel there as well.
