PIP Poll: Bridal party wear

I'm gathering we're all still on holidays given how slow it is around here. Following on from east's post below, here's a PIP poll. We've done something similar before, but not for awhile.

Show me pictures of you in your friend's wedding parties. Bonus points for really ugly dresses or trashtastic hair that was forced upon you by the bride.

Full length, green, with lace AND beading. In August. And she tried to tell me it was re-wearable. I love her, but I hated this dress so hard.

Totally not re-wearable, but I did get to pick it and I really liked it. I don't like the dress I wore in my other friend's wedding, but she let us pick our own dresses so that was my own fault, I just picked one that didn't flatter me that well (I don't have any pictures from that wedding on my computer).

Hmm this PIP poll just made me realise that I have lost all of the photos from one of my friend's weddings. Bizarre.

This dress was $330. I've not worn it again. It's not too horrible, really, but it could have been a lot worse- originally the bride wanted us in pastel blue.

(oh, and the random faces/pose: their photographer was a wanker).

Brie, that is rather terrible! And Laura, those aren't too bad really- I like the one on the right, and the cardigans are somewhat redeeming.

mags, was there a rationale for having a silver push up corset on the outside of the dress? Not to be mean, but that looks like y'all got confused when getting dressed.

I really didn't mind them, but she did them to match the decor for the reception. I think I liked how it fit more than how it looked. That dress has never come out of the closet again though.

hahaha I didn't even know I had that picture until I was looking for the wedding of my other friend, so I plead not guilty! I wasn't even that cute- I was always a bit awkward as a child.

Oh joy! The one on the right is me! The cardigans weren't part of the original outfit. It was threatening rain that day and it was a bit chilly for June so myself and one other bridesmaid essentially just told the bride that we were bringing sweaters and we hoped she didn't mind. We didn't wear them for the ceremony. Also, that picture was taken with a disposable camera, which is why it looks so... old.

Haha no way! The dress is actually pretty popular for BM's from DB, but it shrunk me even more, made me look even paler and didn't fit right in the chest at all. I was pulling the damn thing all up all night!

holy hell i hated this bridesmaid dress so much. it was cheap ass target linen and looked like a potato sack. it added 30 lbs and was so wrinkled.

a different wedding. i liked this dress. didn't love it, but i didn't feel like a pilgrim or a dishrag in it like i did the other one. (and the "girls" looked nice lol!)

Or how about when I was in FSIL's wedding, got subbed in because another BM dropped out, and had to wear that BMs dress, that didn't fit?

And the pose? We were "keeping him from escaping" and why are we barefoot? Don't ask me.

Haha Sun. The colors of FSIL's wedding was baby blue and that light yellow. She carried fake blue flowers and scattered fake blue rose petals on all the tables. I am not one to hate fakes, almost used 'em myself, but the blue was gagworthy.

And the decor at the camo wedding? Grass and cattails. Otherwise, great food, great booze, great DJ. She threw a great wedding!

Sorry this may be huge...we HAD to get our hair done like this, pretty preschool bow and all! VOMIT! Needless to say, many long island iced teas were in order. I may have a picture of the trashtastic dress also, hold on.

Oh I love the hot pink! With camo, not so much, Actually, nothing would have really matched the camo. I've seen black done that was ok.
