My Mom gave me a card that sad last Vday as a single woman, it was really cute! Did anyone else struggle to find a nice heartfelt card because all the good one's were for husbands?! Hope everyone has a great day today!

Happy Valentine's Day to all you lovely ladies!

I didn't get FI a card this year and he didn't get me one either, which is odd for him. He did have that cute note with my flowers last week and I surprised him with a note and some gifts the same day he sent my flowers. I'm counting that for this year.

For my birthday last year, FI couldn't resist buying a birthday card that was technically for a wife "the woman of my life". He writes heartfelt letters in all of his cards that are normally longer than the card itself.

I could only find funny and risqué cards this year. The "nice" one I got is a bit risqué but all the heartfelt ones "to boyfriend" or whatever sucked.

that's annoying. I got a cute card with a blond girl and boy holding hands from target. Super sappy, but it was one of the cheapest cards and was recycled.

I really struggled finding a card for fi. All te cute ones were for husbands! I got him a super cute singing monkey that songs "your love keeps lifting me higher" ..... It's a I've hit with fi and carter!

Every time I hear that song, I think of Ghostbusters. I also love the version that Audio Adrenaline did.

There weren't too many cards for engaged couples, but I ended up finding a super cute one at Target this year. All I'm hoping for from FI is for him to start up the fire and share a bottle of wine with me. That will be a great Valentines Day

I won't be home until later tonight so I'll be stopping at Target on my way back to pick up a card and a little something...we won't be "really" celebrating until the weekend, though.

I couldn't find any good cards either! I got frustrated trying to find a good one (I have to literally read just about every card to find the right one) so I went home and made one the other day. I can now safely say I hate making pop up letters and will not be doing that again.

I'm really not a card person...FI got me one last year, but I'm not anticipating one this year. We're going to celebrate tomorrow by going out for a movie and dessert. I won't be home until 9 tonight...

I ALMOST bought a husband card since the "boyfriend" cards were so lame! But I wanted to save that for next year! Seriously, every card was either SUPER cheesy, just plain stupid, or all about sex. GEEZ!!!

Happy Valentine's Day, everyone!! I found the cutest FI card this year (benefits of working in uncle's card/gift store). It says to my husband-to-be. We're cooking a nice dinner together and renting a redbox movie. Low key and relaxing!

Happy Valentines Day!! The card I got for FI said husband on it, but I wrote in silver marker "soon to be" just above it.
