Wedding Coordinator left my Venue :(

I just found out my wedding coordinator that I have been working with since last year left the Hyatt in Cambridge. My wedding is in October and I will be assigned a new coordinator within the week when they figure out schedules etc. I AM FREAKING OUT. I am sure it happens a lot. I need some good vibes...

    I feel your pain.

    My wedding is 3 weeks away and my coordinator left last week. I wasn't too upset because she was terrible. The new coordinator says she has 3 conventions in the weeks before my wedding and she is too busy to talk to me. Boy am I glad I hired a DOC!

    I am sending you good vibes, I have heard good things about the Hyatt, so I am sure it will all work out fine. And you do have 3 months to get to know the new person, maybe they will be even better!

    Hey BostonGirl82!  That stinks!  I'm sure it will be fine though!  I'm actually really suprised since they haven't even assigned us a coordinator.  They said they don't make the schedules until a few weeks before the weeding. Who were you using that left?

    Megan- Thanks for the good vibes and I hope everything works out with you! I am just hit a few wedding planning bumps in the last few days and this one was a big let down since I got along with my wedding coordinator so well. Everything happens for a reason! Plus I have time.

    I see you are getting married at the Renaissance Waterfront Hotel. We LOVED the modern feel there.

    Noodle- We were working with Ashley. She is so wonderful to work with so I am bummed. I am sure everyone is just as good, but it was comforting to work with the same person through the whole process. Oh well! I know it will be fine!

    I just found out last week that my coordinator was leaving.  Her last day was Friday (we got 2 days notice).  But the new coodinator is great and experienced as well, and I'm excited to have the best of two coordinators.  Hopefully when you meet your new coordinator you'll feel the same way.

    You ladies made me feel better already! Hopefully I have a good experience like you ladies! I am just really anxious to see who I am going to work with next. They are still figuring out how to distribute the events and I am hearing back by the end of the week/ early next week. Fingers crossed!

    It happened to me, too! Hope it all works out. Three months is still a lot of time to get to know the new person.
