In Response to Re: Anyone here? : They stopped counting that because WW realized that most people have desk jobs. You can change your daily points though if you have a more active lifestyle, or if you're having issues with the daily limit.

Oh I didn't even notice they didn't ask that question when I rejoined.

  • My dieting starts in 2 weeks, bleh.

How on Earth do you girls stick to your diet? I only do it for religous reason otherwise I wouldn't, I have no self control...

Perhaps, that is the logical thing to do. Or rather, if I had chickens I would at least use them for their eggs.

  • Well this time I've stuck to my diet by having reasonable goals and by knowing I want to be thinner when BF proposes. I've finally gotten to the point where I don't feel like I'm starving all the time. I'm hoping to break the 10 lbs. lost mark this week :)

  • I'm going to bed ladies! Have a good night!

  • Lol I always do it. Or at least I always try, some years I do better then others. Um it's a 40+ day fast (They don't count Holy Week so really it's like 50 days) where you aren't supposed to eat meat or Dairy. And alcohol, except there are certain days where you can have alcohol. Oh and you are supposed to abstain from sexual things, though I have yet to experience this one yet, that is later in the year. It is really tough the first two-three weeks but after that it gets a lot easier. But MAN do you crave meat at the end. On Pascha (Easter) we have a big feast where everyone brings all the food that they have been missed for Lent and eat it! Oh NOM NOM. :) Any questions?
In Response to Re: Anyone here? : There are days when it frustrates me so much I cry. But if I don't stick to it, I will gain 1-7 lbs. A WEEK because of Cushings. It's a pretty good motivator. I hate being overweight.

Me too Liv :( You still look stunning though!

  • Beth- You go girl!! That is awesome!
Liv- that does suck. That would be a good motivator for sure. *hugs*
In Response to Re: Anyone here? : I would die. I live off dairy products. Like milk in my tea everyday, plus a yogurt almost everyday. And lots of cereal. AND CHEESE.

I cheat when it comes to the Nativity Fast, I only do meat then. I always lose about 10 pounds which rocks but then I gain it all back lol. And no dairy sucks majorly, did you want milk in your coffee? Just Kidding! You get soy! Oh you wanted ice cream? Try coming back in 40 days lol.

It is really terrible; every time I get my period I get really bloated a week before hand. Well I either end up thinking I gained like 10 lbs and I am so fat or that I am prego. It is terrible. I have a mental break down those weeks until my period goes away.
Beth - Thanks! You are beautiful. I think you should post pics of yourself more often. Just sayin'. Raven - I would die.
    Posted by LivLeighton
Thanks :) I'm pretty self-conscious about being in pictures lately. I used to be a camera whore. Seriously, I would jump in front of one any time someone whipped one out. I would like to get that confidence back.

Raven - I don't know if I could do no meat. I tried to be a vegetarian once. I failed.

  • Yaga - It lasted about a week and then I NEEDED meat! lol. BF's sister is a vegetarian and she eats the weirdest food.

  • Ya I need to start my homework. Goodnight ladies! Have a nice 3 day weekend!

  • I should probably do homework too. I'm so bad about procrastinating! Goodnight everyone!

  • I guess everyone is leaving but I've been a vegetarian for 15 years now and I haven't eaten any meat or fish. Now because I'm lactose intolerant I limit my dairy intake. I love tofu, but it can be icky if it's not cooked well. I'm exhausted I should be in bed since I have rehearsal at 9:30 in the morning. Blah...

    Anniversary
