Some reviews from my wedding on October 15, 2010
Venue: Brooklake Country Club, Florham Park NJ for ceremony & reception... (A+) I highly recommend them, the food was the best I've ever tasted at a wedding. (I also attended a wedding there myself, so I tasted it as a guest as well)
DJ: Digital Entertainment

(C) The price was right...only paid $900 and I did attend another wedding that they did, which was great, but I didn't feel like they played enough "older crowd music" and only 1 slow song. I was not happy with them.
Musician: Karen Stern

(A+) I paid $800 for cocktail and ceremony music for a trio of harp, flute & violin. Karen and her musicians were fantastic!
Photographer: Chris Jorda Photography

(A pending photos) Chris and the team were very laid back, not bossy or controlling at all. On one hand that's great and really fit with our personalities, but there is the thought in the back of my mind that I hope we got all the shots. It was super windy on my wedding day so I'm just hoping we have some nice photos. Chris has been great to work with so I'm trusting that he is the professional and knows what he's doing!
Bridal Party Hair: Skin Bar & Paint

(A) Jamie was great, she showed up on time and made the girls look beautiful. They were reasonably priced as well.
Makeup: Gina Brozon

(A+) I really loved working with Gina, she made all of us look beautiful. She's calm and sweet and reasonably priced. I would recommend her to anyone!
Invitations, place cards, table numbers, favor tags: JennC Designs
http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=400602645900&ref=ts (B) Overall, I think everything came out great. The only thing is that she told me she had shipped me my place cards, table numbers & favor tags and I later learned that she did not, which annoyed me because it was the week of the wedding. Also, my invitations came out beautifully, however, they were layered and because of the weight and the heat of the summer, they arrived in people's mailboxes and were unglued. This embarrassed me, however, she did try to make it right by offering me a discount. So, I would use her again and I did, anyway, even after my invitations fell apart.
Re: Reviews from 10/15/10 wedding
[QUOTE]mariaNryan - I think she has good intentions but I just don't think she's at a "professional" level yet...like, the ink on the stationary doesn't seem to be consistent throughout. I really did like everything that she did, but if I sit and stare at it, I can find little things to pick out, but for the price I paid, that's what I expected! jchristel - Bea was great! She took care of my parents but I have to say, she was a little unorganized when it came to the run-through for the ceremony. I had everything printed out on paper and she still couldn't figure out the order! I loved the Brooklake!

<div>That surprises me! I had everything on paper too and Phil still ended up wheeling the groom's cake out onto the dance floor in the middle of the reception (it was supposed to be announced after we cut the cake to surprise DH) I told him several times how I wanted it done so I was a little annoyed. Did he keep coming to your table? Was the younger guy there too? </div>
I dont know what you paid for your invites but I paid 300 total and I feel if I went to like a company I could have gotten something for that price! I def think she needs more experience.... But hey what can you do about it now!!

<div>We paid $390 for the invitations & then $150 on top of that for place cards, table numbers and favor tags. I priced out plenty of stores that wouldn't do the metallic paper with the layering for that price, so she did give me a deal. </div>
