RSVP Question - I show know this but I don't.

We have received some negative responses that included wedding presents.  Should we send the thank you notes prior to the wedding or after the wedding with the rest of the thank yous.

    I do not know what the proper etiquette answer is, but I sent thank you cards right away, with a little "we will miss you at the wedding" note.  I think it would also be fine though to wait until after the wedding to send out the thank you card.

    If its a check, mail thank you then cash right away. If its a gift send thank you right away but wait to use.

    according to a wedding book i have the proper etiquette is to send the thank you card right away. it's also one less thing you have to do after the wedding!
