So, I'm asking this in the Oregon forums since it seems to me that insurance policy vary on a state-to-state basis, so I thought you gals would have some good answers to this question.
Does anybody know of an insurance company in Oregon that has a good jewelry coverage policy (probably bundled with renters insurance, since that seems pretty common)? I've checked out my car insurance company as well as my bank, and their renters insurance policies only cover the engagement ring in documented cases of forced entry/theft. I've read that there are some companies that will also cover accidental damage and loss (although I have no idea how you prove that) and would love to know if anybody here has any experience with this and could recommend an insurance company.
