I am here! My newest obsession though has been reading the DIY boards. I am seriously impressed by people's talents, skills and patience! I am in awe of some of the projects!
I can't believe you're down to 3 weeks and 3 days, Bhanu!
Bhanu and Anuj I have too much going on with the wedding stuff, so i have been MIA a bit..so overwhelmed right now girl!
So yea just finished writing my reception program, in reference to your last post..its not a surprise I want to know so things are not a chaos to me. How are the last minute things coming along for you??
I'm floating around online. Been busy with the cleaning, organizing and sorting part of getting ready to move, which is my least favorite part. So now I'm taking a break from the bedroom stuff, and in about an hour I have to get started on bathroom stuff.
Wow all of you guys are so close to the end. One of my workers was talking about me being on here. Even though she is on the phone all day. Got to love hypocracy. I think she's better now, but I'm still being mindful of her. I'm going to get on just not as often
Ahhh Almost everyone is here!!! LOL. Sorry I have been busy with school, etc etc. Although I come by to see if there are posting, I haven't posted anything. All you guys have a great week.

Raangoli I am making a reception program that lists all the intros who walks in when with whom, the who gives speeches when and performances etc etc..I think its good to do that to avoid any chaos on the day

Now Raangoli has got me curious, Is anyone doing a menu for the reception. I was thinking usually there is so many dishes involved in the food, Is it worth having it?
Maybe it's worth having for your non Indian guests and Indian guests alike - the last wedding we went to had this at the reception even though it was a buffet - it was great!

I was thinking of doing one. Even though it's a buffet, I would still like people to know what's waiting for them (I will also request that the food be labeled at the buffet, too.) My thinking/hope is that this will keep things moving rather than having people confused at what is what when they're getting their food.
Forgot to add that now the reception program makes sense, Nicky! It's a good idea for your guests to know who is who and who is performing. Am I in the minority with not having a performance during the reception?
