Wedding Shoppe Question

Hi all!
My dress is in! Yay! (still working on a bio, pics will be in there!)
A while back I thought I read something about the WS keeping your dress for 2 weeks if you chose not to do your alterations through them, and let you take it with you if you are doing alterations with them, is this true? Or did I just make that up? lol

    I did not have my alterations done there.  I purchased my dress in September and kept it there until the next summer.  They never even asked me if I was going to do alterations through them.  I do remember them saying that once you take the dress out you can't bring it back though.

    You can keep your dress at the store as long as you want. Once you take it, then they won't continue to store it unless you have alterations done in the store.

    yup.....bought my dress in August...just picked it up a few weeks ago.  They fixed some beading (or so they said) but didn't ask any additional questions about alterations....I'm going to Louise on the 30th!

    Just an FYI, I just bought my dress there last week and they no longer do alterations there.

    Thanks for all your responses! I must've misread something a while ago.

    Anyway, I went and saw my dress and tried it on. I'm so excited to wear it!  I didn't bring it home with me even though I'm not doing alterations with them (most likely Louise!) because after I inspected every detail, my 2 bridesmaids and I heard beads fall to the ground (bummer!) we combed through every inch of detail for 20 minutes and couldn't find where it could've came from. So I'm keeping it there so they'll inspect it again before I take it. But what bugged me is that when I gave the lady the beads that fell off of my dress she threw them in the trash! There wasn't an extra bead baggie with the dress either. Sometimes they bug me there. Also, they didn't mention anything about no longer doing alterations, even after my mom asked if I was keeping my dress there for alterations.
