    yeah I mostly just lurk unless I have something to say.

    and, julie, again I never called you elitist, that was your word.  and I have made no assumptions about your background or how you grew up.  I know people of all backgrounds who make classist assumptions about people based on very little knowledge about them.

    and tiffany, no julie did not directly keep this woman from eating.  but don't you think that reinforcing and perpetuating the assumption that poor people are lazy and ungrateful affects whether or not a lot of people go hungry or not?

    People say really inflammatory things on here sometimes!  It's hard not to respond to, ha.  You don't have to like my opinions or how I express them, but I don't understand saying controversial, inflammatory [eta:and offensive] things in a public forum and then getting upset when people have strong reactions to what you're saying.

    Why was Obama even mentioned?? And I don't understand why this thread was even started. Why does it matter that a lady needed food but left before anyone helped her? How is that anyone's business? Who flippin cares?!

    Here is my furbaby, Alexi!  We adopted her in February, and she's cranky, missing most of her teeth, and she vomits on everything, but we love her.  She also sounds more like a duck than a cat.

    Does your kitty like to eat flowers to?  Sally loves them and she loves them so much she voms them up and then I have to clean.  Bill just sends them to school now.

    Lola when she was a puppy.  This was before her hair grew (she's a LH).  And before her snout turned white.  She's 4 now - all grown up!
