RSVP Inserts

Ok so we are finishing the final edits on our wedding invites... on the RSVP insert we went with the wording that says:

___ seats have been reserved in your honor (and plan on filling out the number we reserved for them)  and then under that it has:

M____________
__ accepts   __ regrets

Do you think that there needs to be a line somewhere where it says ___ Number attending?   I don't want to get confused if I say 2 seats have been reserved for you, but the person is only bringing himself, or if I invite a family of 5 but only 3 come....  advice???

    We made our RSVP inserts very specific.  It first said We have reserved X number of seats in your honor, and we listed everyone invited with a line for either accept or decline.

    It's really up to you.  We did the line with X seats reserved in your honor but only put the m______ and then accepts or declines.... We had no issues what so ever.  We had also secretly numbered all of our rsvp cards in case someone didn't write their name in and we never had to use that.  

    After being on the knot I became paranoid about a TON of stuff... most of which, we didn't have issues with an shouldn't have worried about.  Not saying I don't love my knotties but still... kinda makes you think about a ton of stuff that probably don't really matter.

    Do you have room to do this:

    ____ Accepts; Number Attending ______

    ____ Declines

    Or maybe just change it to this:

    ____ Accepts (Number attending ____)    _____ Declines

    I did what you're suggesting & it worked fairly well. We also did the secret numbering but only needed it for one person.

    X seats have been reserved in your honor.

    thanks girls!!! I think I'll just leave it as is... carlson craft is giving me so much crap it's annoying me, I'd rather just have them and be done with them!

    I am planning to do this:

    _x__ seats have been reserved in your honor

    [  ]  ____ of __x__ attending
    [  ]  not attending

    And then you fill in the 2 x's.

    We had:

    M__________

    __accepts w/ pleasure
    __declines with regrets

    __ out of __ guests able to attend

    we filled in the second blank w/ the number they were allotted and they filled in the first.

    we also numbered the cards and actually had to use it a couple times.
