where is the best wedding dress shop?

Where is the best place to go for dresses in your opinions. I have 3 favorites that I have tried on in SC(were i live) and of Course the favorite choice "kathy ireland by 2be" dress is no where to be found up in CT to show all of my family and friends.

Just looking for a place with a bigger selection to try on......

    Stylish Impressions in Farmington. Their selection is large, though not quite as large as Mariella's.  The dresses are more reasonably priced though and their service is much better.  I liked some of Kathy Ireland's lace dresses and found 2 like them there.

    I think Bancroft Bridals carries that line. They're in MA, just over the CT line.  That's where I ended up getting my dress. I went in search of a dress that no one else carried in CT, ended up hating it haha, but fell in love with another one.  I think the ride was about an hour from my house so it wasn't terrible and they have great customer service. Good luck!

    Also, for a really great bridal experience- The White Dress by the Shore in Clinton, CT is awesome. They carry a different type of dress though (not a lot of bling, etc.) so it depends on your taste. But it's an awesome boutique.

    I called Bancoft bridals and they do carry the line just not "The Dress"...and i cant even get it ordered for a fee :(  but i did make an appointment there becasue she said she had similar lace dresses....

    Check out the Wedding Dress in Portland, CT.  Small shop, but a decent selection, and reasonably priced.  My dress is lace (it's a Essence of Australia) and I tried on a bunch of other lacey dresses there.  They are so nice and helpful, my consultant actally pulled the dress I ended up buying, I had completely passed over it when I was pulling gowns to try on.

    Bridal Trousseau in Branford is where I got my dress, but I also tried on at Mariella's in Rocky Hill and Camille's in West Hartford and liked them both.  Camille's is a little on the pricier side.  Really good service at all three!
