    Oh Sami, I am sorry about the fight.  I hate doing that with H when he is not there to see my pissy face.  I hope all gets better.  H tends to get over things quicker than me.

    Kara & Hike - I'll *hopefully* be in South Carolina next September, so that's like the mid-way point between Virginia and Jacksonville, kinda?  And GGirl is there (YAY!) and Sami won't be too far away.  And I'll be looking for things to do!!!

    Sami - sorry you guys had a fight!  I keep hoping your communication will get better when you aren't long distance anymore.  It's clearly put a lot of stress on both of you and your relationship.  It makes me sad.  On the flip side, if FI had a cat and I was allergic and told him I didn't want it, I'd be kind of hurt if he told me to suck it up.  Kinda like your FI picking an MOS that isn't something you're thrilled about, or getting a 1/4 sleeve tattoo without getting your input - you guys are both sort of making selfish decisions, if I don't overstep my bounds by saying that.  You are going to have to find a way to figure out how to make these kinds of decisions while taking each other into consideration.  Compromise and communication are the keys here.

    I am right there right now. No idea where H will be moved to. We are still waiting word on that and it won't come for a while so I make my home in good ol SC for now. I grew up in this state and love it!!!

    I keep forgetting you're there, too!  And iluvmytxrgr, but she hasn't been around in awhile with any regularity.  Anyway, I think the Savannah area is awesome.  FI and I had a long conversation the other day about how we really like it there.  He's put in PI as his first choice for temporary duty, but we'll have to wait and see.  He got an email yesterday that funding is low for next summer so positions will be given based on merit, but I have no doubt he'll be towards the top of the list.  He's got great grades, and his PFT score is awesome.

    I love Savannah too!! It is one of my fave places to go that and Charleston.  I think I just like the old feel they have to them and the great places to eat and and sight see. 

    Here is hoping for the top of the list for FI!!!!

    Cal: That would be an epic GTG! Beachy will be here too! I haven't been in SC for years, last time I was there was when I met H actually in Charleston. H and my sister went to Nuke school there together. Charleston is a neat little city and they have Mellow Mushrooms there, one of the best pizza places ever!
