Hair & Make-up?!?!

I had a friend of a friend in mind and it just seems like she wants to charge me for every little detail. I only have 3 bridesbaids, me and my mother that will need hair and make up. I want someone that does on location... 
Any ideas?

    I'm going to keep an eye on this thread. I need to find a make-up artist (doesn't have to do on-site though). My FI's cousin is a hair stylist. She will be doing me and my bridesmaids for my wedding at very reasonable rates. PM if you want her contact info. She doesn't do make-up though.
    Married my better half on 11/6/2011.

    In regards to makeup:
    I highly recommend Lauren Ballard from Pucci Salon (480-443-3030).

    She did an amazing job on our wedding day, will come on site, and is very affordable.

    Hello! I am new here - just got engaged last week! (woot) :) I work in the commercial production industry and I know a lot of great makeup artists. Check out the Arizona Production Association webpage and look for the m/u crew. They are used to going on location for commercials, so I'd imagine they would for a wedding as well. 

    Jackie, Kim P and Dori R  are all m/u artists I've worked with and are great!

    It's not at all unusual at all to be charged for a trial.

    Makeup by Jen B. if you want airbrush - mine lasted ALL day and I was thrilled with it!

    My hair was done by Amy Freudenberg, and she was very reasonably priced.

    Both of them came to me for the trials and on the day of. You can check out pics and reviews in my bio. HTH!

    Stephanie Nault!  It is $95 for day of, $50 for the trial. $50 is due to book so $145 total but she does offer discounts if you have more than just yourself wanting MU:)

    She'd be worth checking out.
