Hair Stylist?

I know Smart and Chic come highly recommended on this board but their prices are a little out of my range (especially considering they don't include a trial run in their price).  So, does anybody have any recs for a good bridal stylist that DOES include a trial run in their prices?  Thanks!

    Most I've seen are around $60 for bridal hair...and that also doesn't include a trial.  I decided to go with smart and chic, because it wasn't much more that what I was finding anywhere else and because they are so highly recommended.  Where are you looking (area)?

    I'm looking for the St. Paul/Mpls area.  I have a normal stylist, but I'd be more comfortable going with someone used to working with special occasion hair, if that makes any sense.

    My regular stylist did my hair, and she was awesome.  Kim Welch of Shear Genius Salon.  She's located just north of 694 on Rice St (info in bio).  Her prices vary depending on how elaborate a hairstyle you want, but mine was $60 plus $30 for the trial.  My hair stayed in place all day, even after I took my veil out.

    My best friend is doing my hair for my wedding.  She also cuts and colors my hair as well.  (She has 10+ years of experience and really great ideas) She does up dos all the time for weddings on a referral basis.  I'm not sure what she charges people, however if you would like her contact info let me know.  She will also come to you.

    Check out Karmen Voeller (full review and contact information in my married bio).  She is amazing.  She came to the hotel, styled my hair plus 6 bridesmaids and did a really great job on everyone.  For the bride she chargest $75 and that includes a trial.  Bridesmaids are $50.  I thought that was very reasonable.
